sasm is a site assembler. it transforms html and cfg files into a nice website.

sasm exists mostly for two reasons:

• I needed a way to generate my website that was platform independent, not relying on specific implementations of tools like sed, grep, and sh.
• Most static site "generators" are a full stack solution, having some level of opinion about what format your content should be written in. This is not a problem at first, but as soon as you want to incorporate multiple markup languages this becomes annoying. Thus, sasm is an assembler of html documents into html documents.

  Well, that's up to you to decide. If you feel like it makes creating your website easier, then that's the point. That's what it does for me.
