sasm v0.0.1 is released!

2026-10-27

I am pleased to announce the first release of sasm, a wonderfully simple site assembler.

RSS feed generation is currently not implemented, and there are definitely some other major issues.

Features include:

• Assembly of html into other html
• Generation of a blog post index, appended to index.html
• Built in development server, courtesy of net/http
• Sane and small codebase, grokkable in 5 mins

You can grab the v0.0.1 release here or pull the latest changes from https://git.sr.ht/~binkd/sasm.
